Endowment Giving
Looking forward to the next 50 years of Cimarron means that we need to plant the seeds of longevity today. That is why we are launching an Endowment Campaign in tandem with our 50th Anniversary Season to raise $3,000. The Kirkpatrick Family Fund has pledged a 1 to 3 match totaling $5,000 for Cimarron’s endowment campaign through the Fund’s Endowment-Matching Grant Program. This $3,000 will be added to $12,000 in pre-raised funds and $5,000 (a 1 to 3 match) fromThe Kirkpatrick Family Fund to add a thrilling $20,000 to Cimarron’s endowment. The $5,000 is provided by the Kirkpatrick fund through their Endowment-Matching Grant Program.

Endowment funds are invested for long-term growth and eventually give back more than is put into them. In this way, your gift today will give back forever. Our endowment fund with Oklahoma City Community Foundation ensures that we will have funds to support our mission to provide aspiring performing artists and creative technicians a forum for their talents and opportunities to gain valuable training and stage experience, while providing cultural enrichment and education to various audiences across the state and beyond for as long as we need them.
Endowment contribution options include:
A one time donation. A donation to our endowment will give back its full value to us within 15 years, and then continue to give even more! To donate visit https://bit.ly/Cimarron-Opera-Endowment

Planned Giving
For those looking to play an important role in securing Cimarron Opera’s future artistic excellence, a planned or deferred gift is the ultimate way to help. Most planned and deferred gifts will be applied to the Opera’s permanent endowment fund, ensuring that your initial gift has an impact for many years into the future.
Planned gifts not only benefit Cimarron Opera , but they can also greatly benefit you through tax savings. Depending on the option that you choose, you can receive cash payments that can supplement retirement income or provide support for family members and friends.
Planned giving options include:
A gift in your will or trust is the easiest and most meaningful way to provide for Cimarron Opera’s future. It may be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of the estate, or a remainder after other distributions have been made.
Endow one of Cimarron Opera’s programs forever. Earmarking your endowment donation for a certain program means you can guarantee funding for one of our programs for years to come.
In exchange for cash or assets the Opera agrees to pay a fixed sum of money to the donor for the duration of the donor’s life, after which the remainder is left to Cimarron Opera’s Endowment.
Transfer your assets into a trust, which pays income to you (or other designated beneficiaries) until the trust terminates and the remaining principal is left to benefit Cimarron Opera.
By establishing a planned gift with Cimarron Opera Company, you would become part of The Encore Society. The Encore Society will be composed of donors who have provided for Cimarron Opera in their will or other estate plans. Each season, Encore Society members will convene for a special dinner and dress rehearsal. Let us know that you have provided for Cimarron Opera in your estate plans and we will invite you to this special reception.
